====== The Underground ======

The Underground is a group on the Amalthea server with a dream to connect the world and create vast underground cities.
The Underground intends to be democratic and extend unnoticed to all corners of the world.

As of [[date:2021-12-27]] the building of a true city has been postponed until the caves update has been implemented.

===== Rules and leadership =====

The current rules of the underground are as follows:

  - Unless it is necessary for specific reasons (See iron golem farm, ice farm, witch farm and nether highways) the majority of a build associated with the underground must be mostly hidden by naturally generated Minecraft terrain. (Or underground)

  - Votes are held by ballot through shop chests where each member may choose to buy from either of the provided chests the chests must be claimed by councilors.

  - Members are ineligible to vote if they have significant builds or claims with other factions or sufficient association such that your vote can be influenced by said factions.

  - Members must follow edicts that have passed by majority vote or abide by the relevant punishments. Lack of abidance with punishment results in revoked membership until punishment is administered.

  - Members may be elevated to or demoted from a position of councilor by majority vote.

  - Councillors have the right to veto or back any vote except one that demotes or promotes a councilor. Votes with more veto's than backers are postponed

  - Councillors may exile or protect any non council members. If more councilors are exiling than protecting a member they are exiled.

  - Members are entitled to an amount determined by specific policy from any resource produced by the underground's farms, trades from villagers and to sleep in the underground's beds.


Current Edicts:

Most building will be postponed until after the next server update or 1 hour spent at the ice farm (Edict passed by 

majority vote and backed by councilor [[montinje]])

No griefing or PvP with other members of the underground unless in specially created facility on pain of exile.
